Came here because of the show The Brother Sun and was amazed by the experience! This hotpot spot offers high-quality meats and flavorful broth at a reasonable price. If you're into Chinese spicy food this is the place! Very authentic and the staff is highly attentive. The decor is thoughtfully designed, reflecting Chinese culinary culture beautifully
First time here after it's been opening for quite a while. Winter and hot pot is always a good match. Love the idea of 3 different soup bases instead of two. The spicy one was fine; tomato soup bases had a bold taste and loved it the most. Varieties of meat and veggies to choose from, which was important to hot pot. The beef and lamb had good quality. The trip was a little bit chewy... We did not overcook it. Service was fine. The place was not too loud. The decor reminded me of hot pot places in China. Parking was not too challenging.
This hotpot place has some good quality meats and broth. The pricing is decent too for what you get. We got the bone broth and spicy. Both were very good and the selection was diverse. The veggies were excellent, especially the corn, napa cabbage and the lotus root. The meats were also great. The ribeye, short rib, shrimp paste with roe and pepper corn beef were great. The lamb and beef belly were also good. The sauce station is very simple and constantly restocked. The staff is very attentive and constantly looking to grab empty trays and deliver orders in a very quick timely manner. The decor is very neat and cultural relevant to the Chinese food.
I've been here twice now. The first time I came with a small group of friends and had a good experience so I brought my husband back a couple months later. Pros: - Their sauce bar is awesome and extensive. I love that they have a couple dessert options and some snacks for you to eat alongside your hot pot. It's $2.95 per person but if you're going to eat hot pot, you really can't skip the sauces. - I like that you can split the broth more than two ways. With my group of friends, we were able to try 3 different broths between us. - There is a large variety of raw and cooked items to order from. - It's convenient to order on your phone and you can add items anytime. - Love the decor here. It feels like you've been transported to another country. Cons: - It's a little pricey. For 2 people, we spent $100+ and we didn't even order everything we wanted to order. Just the soup base alone costs $15.95 and then once you tack on the sauce bar, that's $20 before you actually order any food. It's much more worth it if you come in a small group. It's hard to order individual items when there's only 2 people and be able to finish / get enough variety. $100 did not include any seafood. We only ordered two small plates of meat, veggies, noodles, and a small combo of meatballs/fish balls. - They don't wash their vegetables well. I was a little bit grossed out by the spinach we received which had visible dirt on it. Overall, it's worth a try, especially if you come in a small group.
This place is amazing. From the decor, food, and service, I really enjoyed my experience here. The food is delicious, and the best part is that the prices are very reasonable--definitely cheaper than Hai Di Lao! You get great quality without breaking the bank. The only small downside is that it takes a while for them to replace the empty fruit trays, but overall, it's a fantastic spot. I'll definitely be coming back!
